2-3 week itinerary. any suggestions?

im planning on visiting Burma for between 2 and 3 weeks in May. im not sure how much time i can give it yet (its part of an overall trip around SE Asia, and time is an issue now), but it%26#39;ll be roughly 16 or 17 days

i was wondering if anyone can suggest what i should see and what i can miss during that time?

i was thinking Mandalay, Yangon, Bagan, Inle Lake.

i hear travel can be difficult and time consuming, and its best not to try to fit in too much

how long should i stay at each of those places?

Thanks

You can add Nagpali beach to that. Please go through a local travel agency you will save a lot.

should i go thru the travel agent just for Nagpali Beach, or for the whole trip? cos i really do prefer independent travel

what makes Nagpali beach special? ive seen plenty of beaches around SE Asia, im looking for something different!

thanks!

Ngapali Beach fine if you want some R%26amp;R after 2 weeks of touring around Myanmar.

The advantages are you can fly there easily ($65? e/w) and there are a good selection of hotels and restaurants to suit all tastes and wallets.

However if you do not need R%26amp;R after your trip then miss it out.

Personally I find it charming, laid back %26amp; relaxed and good for a few days rest.

Most of the Ngapali Beach hotel will be closed starting from May and it is not advisiable to go Beach in May.

16 to 17 days in more than enough to go around in Yangon , Mandalay , Bagan and Inle Lake.

Avarage 3 days each in Yangon, Mandalay, Bagan and if you have time and if you can, you can go tracking around Kalaw and Pindaya (to include in Inle Lake )
