We are planing a trip to Myanmar in March, because the time is very limited (10days), so we plan to fly between all the places inside of Myanmar, there are a few of questions still worry us even after we read the LP.
1. Can we buy the plane tickets at same day in airport?
2. What is the best way to book the tickets in advance?
3. To buy on site or book in advance, which is the best way to do?
If anyone did domestic flights in Myanmar and can drop a few of lines that will be very appreciated.
Domestic flights ?
The best %26amp; easiest way to travel by air if time is a factor is book ahead using a travel agent, you won%26#39;t be able to get tickets at the airport. There%26#39;s plenty of good agents here that will arrange all your flights if you tell them where %26amp; when you want to be somewhere. You can even arrange for someone from an agency to meet you at the airport if you have a connecting flight with your tickets. The prices with these agents are very reasonable %26amp; can sometimes be cheaper than booking direct. All the flights to Inle Lake, Mandalay %26amp; Bagan seem to be running fine at present. Flights to Ngapali seem to be running ok as this is a busy time of year for people wanting to get to the beach.
I don%26#39;t have names of travel agents on me today, I can post some tomorrow %26amp; I%26#39;m sure there%26#39;s people here who can also give you a few ideas or use the search option here for travel agents in Myanmar, i%26#39;m sure I%26#39;ve seen quite a few posts on this subject.
Enjoy

Domestic flights ?
Thank you very much, if someone can post any reliable local travel agents will be even better.
%26lt;a href=';http://www.sunfartravels.com/';%26gt;Sun Far Travels%26lt;/a%26gt; is quite a reputable and reliable travel agent. I always use this tour agent. Another one I sometimes use is %26lt;a href=';www.myanmar-tourism.com/columbus_travels.htm';%26gt;Columbus Tours%26lt;/a%26gt;. It is also a good tour operator.
You can buy an air ticket one or two hours ahead of the departure time, but it depends on the availability of the ticket. However, you cannot buy the ticket on the same day at the travel agent or direct from the airline (possible due to lack of online ticketing system), and the only way you can buy a ticket on the same day of your travel is to buy those tickets left at the airport just a few hours (1-2 hours ahead) before the departure time. Most of the time, I bought tickets at the airport and I usually get a ticket from one or the other domestic airlines, but I am not sure about the foreigners (I am Burmese). Better to use one of the travel agents as they will be able to arrange the whole trip for you.
One thing to remember is there are a number of flight cancellation due to various reasons (although it is rare for major destinations like Yangon, Bagan, Mandalay and Inle). Bear this in mind if you are traveling outside the above major tourist destinations.
Thanks a lot.
1. If seat is still availiable, you can buy at airport but since you have only 10 days, you have to arrange and make sure you have tickets.
2. through the travel agent or ticketing agent.
3. Some one ask me the same question and below is my answer .
Although this year , we have few tourist, the airline also reduce flight and not easy to get the ticket. So better to prepair ahead.

Best regards and thank you for visiting our country.
We took 5 internal flights in December (Air Bagan). All departure times were changed at least once, especially the day before. Besides, delays are not unusual.
Please also note that most flight routes are ';circular';, i.e. generally the same plane follows the route Yangon-Bagan-Mandalay-Inle lake (almost like a bus). E.g. to reach lake Inle from Yangon you%26#39;ll stop first in Bagan and then in Mandalay. So, I suggest you to plan your trip according to the routes, so that you do not have to waste even more time in planes and airports.
We used Gulliver Travel %26amp; Tours, based in Yangon, and we were extremely satisfied with their service.
This may well be the case for Air Bagan, but if you fly Yangon Airways, which is by far the safest %26amp; most reliable passenger airline here you%26#39;ll do this route in reverse.
Yangon-Heho(Inle Lake)-Mandalay-Yangon.
There%26#39;s plenty of agents there for you to choose from, most are pretty good. I always use columbus %26amp; find the service exellent.
Just returned-flew two sectors with Air Bagan RGN/SNW/RGN-both on time and as ticketed 3 days before.
Incidentally-we clocked three flights incoming to Sandoway every day and four on three days whilst relaxing at our hotel.
Yangon Air was once a day and the other two or three were Air Bagan.
Flights were invariable pretty full.
Yangon Airways did not fly to Ngapali for 2 years already. A daily flight to Ngapli is either Air Bagan or Myanmar airways(Government airline) . Mandalay Airways fly 3 time a week this year.

you are right - misread the tailfin symbol.
