Hi, we are planning our trip to Myanmar and would like to hear if anyone knows Shan Yoma Travel and Tours - their site looks great,in generel, however, we are a little uncertain as to whether travelbookings in Myanmar via internet is reliable?

In Myanmar bookings through internet/fax is the normal method and I have booked hotels and tours over the last 10 years with no problems.

I have used Tour Mandalay,Asian Trails and Dietelm and there are many postings here on other successful bookings with many other Agencies.

I also take recommendations from first time newly joined forum members with no history, with great suspicion!

Shan Yoma is one of the reputable travel agent in here and it is local.

Above mention Tour Mandalay is local ,Asian Trails and Dietelm is joined with foreign company.

All of them are reputable travel agents here.
