Guest houses in Yangon and Bagan

Are there easy to find, clean guest houses in these cities like there are in Thailand? I am planning on being there for a week starting th 18th of Dec and am wondering the best way to plan accommodations.

I would rather spend money on experiences rather then accommodation.

Yes, it%26#39;s easy to find. What you should do in Bagan is ';try to approach a local trishaw or horse cart driver'; in Bagan soon after you arrive to terminals, bus or airport.
