planning to fly to mandalay and would then like to go to bagan

questions?

best way to get to bagan from mandalay can you go by boat etc

can you get a flight to ngapali from either bagan or mandalay

or do you have to go back to yangon

The best river trip is by Pandaw or similar - 2 nights in comfort and great food. You can also get the local fast daily boat , but without the comfort.

Before the problems there was a flight a few times a week from Mandalay to Thandwe , via Heho as this linked in to certain of the European tours.

Doubt it runs now - the last time we did Bagan/Thandwe we had to go via Yangon.

Although we had to disembark , collect luggage and then check in for Thandwe it was the same ATR72 aircraft we arrived in and which had sat on the stand since we disembarked!!

i have made comments about your attitude and manner in your previous postings

as you know we are all entitled to our opinions

A very long time ago, I corrected you in a post where you had given some pretty ignorant advice. When you flew off your handle, because I hadn鈥檛 worded my post quite as sugar sweet as you though I ought to, I posted an apology for my wording, not for it鈥檚 content.

You quite recently choose to post a pretty personal attack on me directly without any reason whatsoever. In fact even at a time when I was hardly posting to Trip Advisor.

Never mind all this, I鈥檝e given Trip advisor away anyway, mainly due to ignorance... such as yours.

also have travel company reply to recent e/mail

regarding a flight from bagan to thandwe

they give the impression that rhere is a flight available

so just waiting for reply ref my dates required

fly on thursday and will try and keep a written record of our journey
