Can anyone please tell what is the weather like first week of May in Ngapali? Is it hot/dry/strong waves/rainy? Do you think there may be problems with flights? We are going April 27- May 4. THANKS!
Ngapali- weather in May?
Weather are hard to predict now a day, how ever usually , this time is hot and dry. No strong waves or rainy yet but if the moonsoon coming early , may be rain. I don%26#39;t expect flight problems . If weather is bad , they do not fly. Usually, Air Mandalay only fly year round and other two ( This year only air bagan) stop fly in May due to low season. If it is usual like other years, no problem . Moonsoon season started late May or early June in Myanmar.

You are one month ahead right time to be there. It%26#39;s not rainy and there are no strong waves in May. You have to make sure of your flight goes there. Enjoy the tropical taste at the best beach of Myanmar.
Thank you to all!
We are staying in Yangon for 12 nights beginning 2nd June. We realise it is the start of the monsoon season, but can we expect some dry periods also?
to PoshEngland, it%26#39;s now always raining normally throughout the Country; the weather of coastal line is shady. But it depends. In the Central part such as Bagan, Mandalay it%26#39;s hard to see rain sometimes. Hope this answers.
Although Moonson season start in June , some time it late too. In the rainy season, some days are dry and sunshine, so you still have chance for sun shine days.
Thank you all for this information. As it will be our first, long-awaited visit to Rangoon, we welcome any help regarding what to expect, what to take with us, etc.
Light rain coat, mosquito repellent must.
And Malarone tablets!
