Hi, I plan to travel on my own (female) to Myanmar in June/July 2008. Can anyone tell me how best to travel between Yangon and Bagan? NOT expenisve though! and also any advice on good, cheap places to stay in both these places? hope to get a reply!! karen

The best is plane (fare around 83 USD for one way) . However, you can go with by bus too but road and bus condition are not to the standard. (fare around 11 USD)
Since ,I am local, I do not want to recomment for the hotel yet because some thinks I%26#39;m advertising. If no one, then I will recomment to you.
