Going to spend two full days in Bagan: what temples and what areas would you suggest me to visit?
How much would a driver charge a day for a hired taxi averagely around the sites?
Is a trip to Mt.Popa worth a visit?
All your comments welcome! cheers

temples to visit in Bagan two daysOnly two full days in Bagan, to my humble opinion you should spend those precious days in Bagan. Normally we do Popa day return trip when we have plenty of time in Bagan or when we go by road to Mandalay or Pindaya or elsewhere, we en route Popa or overnight there for a night stand as they have a good hotel.
My suggestions go as;-
One full day should spend in the most major highlights of Bagan temples. And the other day should be spent in villages around, works and farms. With bike or horse cart is an idea to relax and digest Bagan for a day as well.
The car for a sedan in Bagan costs more or less 40 USD a day with a driver, car and fuel. To go to Popa return trip, it would be around 60 USD.
The best thing to do is lodge yourself in Old Bagan, so you are already there for everything.
Thank you Mgzaymin and Adroit River!
riding a bike around the temples sounds cool, good suggestion!
but if I should decide to rent a taxi, or a car with a driver, for one full day around Nyaung U and Old Bagan, what would be a reasonable price?
Hi there, Nyaung Oo and Old Bagan doesn%26#39;t mean a change speaking of hiring a car or a taxi. The cost 40 can be down to 35, but remember they are air-conditioned. So the question I%26#39;m not sure is if they operate cars without AC and charge cheaply. But it%26#39;s always nice to be in air-conditioned car as Bagan is in central dry zone of Burma.
