He Can I visit mayanmmar through road from Bangladesh??? Is they allow overland entry at bangladesh burma border(for Bangladeshis)???

A definite no. There is no formal visitor entry point on the Bengladesh - Burma border. I dont think it is allowed either. I would advise you to fly into Burma. Bengladesh Airline did fly into Yangon. I think it still does; you will have to check.

I expect that as a Bangladeshi national, you may be able to cross the border, but I鈥檓 not so sure that you will be allowed to travel in the area by road, as it鈥檚 generally not open to foreigners..... You need to check on this with the Myanmar embassy.

Bangladesh airlines has not flown to Yangon since about mid last year. You may try Indian airlines from Kolkata... You need to book in advance, as the flight is mostly full. You also need your visa in advance.

Cheapest flight would be to Bangkok and then airasia from there to Yangon.

For visitors, it would seem to be ';business as usual';.. apart from very few people there, this season. As for the future.. hard to predict.. Hopefully things will change for a better and more open society... fingers crossed.

As for flights to Myanmar... Bangladesh airlines stopped the Yangon route.. not because of the recent situation.. but due to their own problems.. they lost a plane in the middle east.. think it may have been Dubai.. and I think they have other problems also.

Qatar will discontinue flights non-stop to Yangon soon.. Think it may be late Feb... I think they still sell tickets.. but via Bangkok and then a code share arrangement with Myanmar Int. to Yangon....

Airasia is again flying daily from Bangkok.. at least for the time being.

There are now flights between Hong Kong and Yangon.. I just forget the name of the airline...

Myanmar Int.. will seemingly recommence some of their cancelled flights between KL and Yangon.. and Bagan air is rumoured to recommence Singapore to Yangon flights before the next high season.. probably by September...

Other than that I can%26#39;t think of any changes.
