cancellation domestic flights July-August???

Many people are now saying that things in Myanmar are somehow going back little by little to normality, but I鈥檝e just heard that domestic flights scheduled in July 鈥?August and September and operated by all of the three national carriers will be cancelled until further notice, it seems breaking news.

Can anybody confirm this??

Since I鈥檇 be interested flying out to Bagan from Yangon next month, what would you suggest then?

How much would a taxi cost?

They still flying but reduce e some places . For example, last week , no flight to Bagan . I believe it is due to very very few tourist. They still fly to Mandalay, Heho and other place which most local fly.

In their weekly schedule , their are still flight to Bagan . However, they reverse the flight schedule qutite frequently. So , it may be your luck that if enough passenger , they may fly.

Next month , usually Spanish season and if they will get enough tourist , they will fly.

For the taxi, one day is around USD 50~60 but it may go up too due to fuel cost. To Bagan and the taxi have to come back to Yangon, they may charge you around USD 240 , I guess. If you really interested, I will ask around and back to you for today price .

Normaly, it in the odd season, yet there%26#39;s a schedule, depend on the inbound visitors, there%26#39;s a ticket agent named SUN FAR, they chartered flights.

For this year stagging or low visitor, even domestic visitor, very very low.

I%26#39;ve news, Air Mandalay, only operate 1 ATR 72, probably stop doing business.

Air BAGAN and Yangon Airways operate only according to the flow of visitors. So, you need to call when you arrive is the best!

I have just spent 2 weeks in Myanmar and took 4 internal flights with Yangon Airways. Every flight was on time and perfect - fantastic service. No problem at all.
