Need guide to Myanmar

I am travelling to Myanmar in December and am looking for an excellent English speaking guide. My husband and I are particularly interested in history, architecture and Buddhism. If anyone has a recommendation, I would be most grateful.

Try to contact to Mr. Ye who is independent licensed tour guide. He can arrange everything what you need and will escort and guide you for the whole trip. We found him on this forum with a lot of good comments and after we exchanged several mails, we let him arranged for our trip in　November. It is the right way of using money in Myanmar to support the locals because we stay at nice, clean local run Hotels. Due to the　own arrangement without taxes or something the price offered by Ye is much more cheaper than others becasue we inquired several travel agencies before we decided to book to him. When I was planning to travel Myanmar I didn%26#39;t have enough info of the country and I worked out on the Internet to find the information. After I find out on this forum and LP thorn tree forum... I found YE with a lot of comments of his old guests. Then I tried to get info of the country direct from YE through his e-mail several times. Then we got good contact because of the forums. The point is that finally we got very nice vacation in Myanmar with his arrangements which and WE JUST WANT TO SHARE OUR EXPERIENCES TO SOMEONE WHO IS THE SAME SITUATION WITH US THE BEGINNING and it probably could be personal but it will be useful to them or someone. Not you because I just want to share the info to someone who need it. OK! If you don%26#39;t need it, you can forget about it.

What I am clear about after reading your self promotion on this and other fora... is that I would never use your services.

I am not sure that I understand the repartee between Simonrw and mosegrisen, but I do know Mr. YE. My wife and I recently took an eight day tour in Myanmar with Mr. YE. It was a great tour and YE was a great guide at a very reasonable price.

we have visited to Myanmar with www.myanmartravel.info , It was perfect .Moreover they are a group of tour guides , at the same time they are doing volutarios works helping a lot to the poor who suffered from Nagis Ciclone. Offcouse they are exelent guides .
