Royal Garden Restaurant at Kandawgyi Park.

Another one , I forgot the seafood restaurnat name, in front(opposite) of Kandawgyi Hotel .

Royal Garden is good, but crazy expensive. The place that used to be Shan Can (I forgot the new name) also has some nice seafood and is more reasonable than Royal Garden.

Shan Can name changed to Kangtawmin Garden Restaurant to now Golden Duck Kangtawmin Restaurant , next to the Shwedagone Pagoda.

Yes, Kan Taw Min. I just found the card. One thing to think about when you order River Prawns: they can get pretty expensive pretty quickly. But they are sooooo good.

The Myanmar preparation (as opposed to Chinese style) of river prawns is delicious. When I have been fortunate enough to dine in local homes, my hosts have often served River Prawns.

It%26#39;s right in front of the Shwedagon Pagoda near the Southern entrance.

The view at night is nothing short of spectacular, so be sure to bring a decent camera to take photos from the porch. Also the lotus pond is pretty nice.

Just mention that ';Golden Duck Kan Taw Min Park'; , U Wisara Road, near Shwedagon Pagoda and you will not miss it.

Golden Duck have numbers of outlet but make sure and farmly say that ';U Wisara Road, Kan Taw Min Park';.

They have change the Golden Duck name not so long ago, so some may not know and they will bring to other outlet. Insist to go to '; U Wisara Road, Kan Taw Min ParK';

Sandy%26#39;s is the name of the restaurant next to the Kandawgyi Palace Hotel which has excellent seafood.

We%26#39;ve eaten there many times and found the prices to be reasonable (expensive for Burma perhaps, but given the great location (shore of the lake, seating right on the water) and the good food we feel it is worth it.

Oversea Chinese restaurant is very good for sea food, but don%26#39;t know where they moved now after the storm. Adom kitchen at Grandmeerahta hotel ground floor is good too, as many say in front of Kandawgyi palace hotel, woo form restaurant is very good as well.
