Question about camera

Is it true that there are some limitations on the electronics that are being carried into the country? I was told that only one ';non-professional'; camera was allowed per tourist.. I am not a professional photographer or a journalist but I always carry a digital SLR and a compact point-and-shoot digital camera (just because I love taking pictures). What about laptop computers? I couldn%26#39;t find any information about it on any of their emabssy website.. Could anyone help me with this please?

Question about camera

I%26#39;m also carrying three lenses for my SLR (and a kit for them, of course).. I don%26#39;t know if that would be an issue. This is really nerve-wrecking O_o

Question about camera

Dear sweetdumpling,It is not a problem for taking a camera, laptops to the country. Every travelers bring with them and no problem.

thank you for the prompt reply.. good to hear that laptops are fine but I was asking about ';two cameras on one person';..

No problem , you can bring two camera .

I am not try to scare you but just to warn you is not to aim to the soliders and or polices. But doesn%26#39;t mean you will see all soliders and polices all around the place. As usual in everywhere on the world now a days, you may see some polices and soliders partrolling .

No problem. Just in case, you need to explain or talk a little bit to ease the officers at the airport for example talk like how you love the photography. I see no problem at all.

Thanks, Mgzaymin and Adroit =)

No problem with photography as long as you do not photograph %26#39;sensitive%26#39; subjects. As far as laptops go, if anything there are fewer restrictions now than even in the recent past.

One thing about cameras, though, is that you will OFTEN have to pay small fees to bring them into religious or historical sites.
