Pagoda question...

Hi Guys,

Where are....

- Sule Pagoda?

- Bodatown Pagoda?

- White Elephant?

- Big Sleeping Buddha?

- The temple where they keep Buddha Teeth?

- The Buddha made from White Jade (The biggest White Jade Buddha in the Myanmar)

- How much if I want to rent a car to Golden Rock for a day trip and where can I rent?

Pagoda question...

All of them are easy to find or ask. You must find the Yangon Map first and able to locate. Anyway, If you want to visit these I plan for you as follow:-

Let say, your hotel is in downtown area which I believe, you will,

1. You can go to Botataung Pagoda, which is in strand road , visit Nat Botataung Bo Bo Gyi Image as same time .

2. Then go to Sule Pagoda which is on Sule Pagoda Road , near Yangoon City Hall.

From there if you want you can visit to Bokyoke Market . It is near by.

3. Then , visit to Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha (Big Sleeping Buddha) at Shwegondine,

4. Then proceed to Swetaw Pagoda ( Buddha teeth ) at Kabar Aye.

5. Then proceed to White elephant and visit Kyauk Taw Gyi Pagoda which is just opposite of white elephant. Note that it is not the Jade. It is white Marble stone.

6. The best time to visit Shwedagone Pagoda is in the evening before sundown and after dark. So visit Shwedagone Pagoda on your return to your hotel before dinner.

7. Day return to golden rock , may cost you around 150~200 USD depend on your car and without aircondition .You can easy to rent from your hotel or any place in Yangon. Somone will approch you to ask for car hire as well.
