Is this do-able?

I will be in Myanmar for seven days or so in the first week of January. I would like to visit Amarapura, Sagaing, Inwa and Mingun as a day trip from Mandalay. Would it be possible to visit all of them on the same day? I have been to Mingun by boat (a long time ago) so I would like to take the land route this time. I am thinking of renting a taxi for the day in Mandalay. I would like to hear your input on it. Thank you.

You will struggle to do justice to them all in one day, the problem is getting to and from Mingun which will take half your day.

The others can easily be done in a day but if you check your map you see it could be possible to arrange to do everything in a clockwise (or anticlockwise)

direction with the connection to/or from Mingun by boat and car/minibus for the others.

I second that. Impossible to do it all in one day and actually experience anything.

Why such a hurry? The best part of a visit to Myanmar is just relaxing and meeting people whom you would never encounter elsewhere. If my time were limited, I%26#39;d go to Sagaing only. That%26#39;s my personal preference, although others will undoubtedly feel otherwise.

Thank you for taking the time to reply me. I think I will go to Amarapura, Sagaing and Inwa on one day and Mingun on the other.
