Hello everyone,
I am planning a trip to Myanmar for late November early Dec, Do you think it will be ok to travel around by this dates? I am also interested in photography, and would like to know if I will have any problem with my photographic equipment when entering the country. I had to postpone the trip last year and I am not sure if it is worth visiting late this year, as for all the devastation with Nargis. Also some help on the itinerary would be apreciated, I am interested in nature an culture, and I ahve about 2-3 weeks to spend there.
Many thanks in advance.

Bon dia.
We are back in Myanmar at the end of December for a couple of weeks and are not considering changing our plans as we expect that most of the areas geared to tourists will be back to normal-we heard that all of the main areas north of Yangon were untouched.
We have never had problems taking photos , although many sites charge extra for camera/video.
As far as a detailed nature/culture try the Lonely Planet book ';Myanmar';.

As mention above, photographic equipment is no problem at all. For itinerary, if you are first time to Myanmar, than better go to usual toursit spot like
Yangon, Inle, Bagan and Mandalay. If you like to take photo, I suggested to hire a taxi and travel. you can stop at any place and you can take a picture. Only bad things is roads are not so good.
My suggesstion with hire taxi -
Day 1. Arrive Yangon , visist Yangon, if time permit.
Day 2. Visit Yangon, rent a taxi for your trip .Evening at Shwedagone Pagoda and day time ,visit other place like bogyoke market and downtown.
Day 3. Proceed to Kyaikhtiyo, (Golden Rock Pagoda). It is about 5 to 6 hrs trip . Between, you can visit Bago and take many interesting photo on the way. Overnigt at golden rock.
Day 4.Take photo at night seen and sun rise seen from golden rock and proceed to Taungoo. Overnight at Taungoo.
Day 5. Proceed to Inle Lake. Over night at Kalaw.
Day 6. Visit Kalaw and Pindaya , Beautiful nature seen and proceed to Nyaung Shwe. Gate way of Inle Lake.
