they are very very good. I have used them 3 times once in Cambodia and twice in Burma and with no problems at all. I couldn%26#39;t recommend them more highly. All my bookings etc done via email - no problems at all - very helpful and knowledgeable. For example on my 2nd trip to Burma I wanted to return to Inle Resort as in 2006 it was the most fantastic hotel, but 2nd time around Diethelm warned me that the General Manager had left in early 2008 and the resort was in their opinion going downhill and so they suggested alternatives.

Not every agent would have such good local knowledge or pass it on.

I have always got the best rooms at hotels when booking with Diethelm - their attention to detail is superb - they know which rooms have the best views etc. it is little things like that which make all the difference.

been to burma twice first time met a nice guy,

very helpful with some accommodation, when we came back from ngapali beach.

turned out his wife owned a travel agency we took his card

and when we went back next year we contacted him and met him at the traders hotel and talked through a suggested itinary. he went away and came back with all that was requested and arranged all transfers pickups and the best accommodation for our trip to mandalay, bagan, and our trip down the irrawaddy

In December, for our 20-day tour we used the services of Gulliver Travel%26amp;Tours based in Yangon. We were extremely satisfied and I highly recommend them.

We always communicated in English with the agency and hired English guides, but this agency has mainly French customers - the owner is a French man married to a Burmese woman.
