Does anyone know if it is possible to fly from Phuket to Yangon without have to go via Bangkok?

Used to be flights some years ago but think it unlikely they will restart.
Phuket to Yangon via BKK can be reasonably painless, especially if you use Thai (to catch their evening RGN flight) %26amp; you also use BangkokAir on Phuket/BKK leg and they can book your hold luggage straight through on the connecting Thai flight to RGN.
