Heho airport to hotel transfer

Is it better to get a hotel arrange a transfer from the airport or get a taxi on your own from the airport? We%26#39;ll be staying at Inle Princess Resort and would also get a boat from Nyaungshwe. I%26#39;ve heard taxi drivers band together and try to overcharge you at the airport. Please let me know what was your experience at the Heho airport. Thanks

From what I recall ,it is a very long walk from the Airport to the road and taxis and private cars are not allowed up to arrivals so be prepared to lug your bags about 300m+(?)

I was there last year -- taxis are allowed at the arrivals lounge no problem, you%26#39;ll be able to find one on the spot.

You can certainly pay to pre-arrange but I would hasten to guess that you would certainly pay more.

the above said is right. taxis are allowed at the arrivals gate and no need to walk so long .

Since, this year is very few tourist, you will easy to bargain the price.
